Shasta Mock Trial Makes History!

14 Shasta Mock Trial members competed for Shasta High School and made mock trial history at the 2019 California Mock Trial State Championships. In the 38 years of the California Mock Trial State Championships, no public school has ever competed in the final trial three years in a row, until Shasta qualified for the round by defeating the eventual 4th, 5th, and 7th ranked teams on Saturday.  Not only did Shasta face the most difficult strength of schedule, they did so with a roster where 9 of the 14 students were either sophomores or freshmen.  Seniors Drake Coy - Finals MVP, Ravi Patel - Top Prosecution Attorney, Shaina Dickie - Top Defense Attorney, and freshman Nicholas Patel - Top Clerk were all individually recognized for their outstanding performances.

All 14 Shasta High School competitors who made the historical run are members of Shasta Mock Trial!
